ENGRAVING Giannis Stefanakis Bio Born in 1951, in Iraklio, Crete. He studied Painting, Printmaking, Typography, Book Art and Icon Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Since 1989 he has been publishing the periodical "Neo Epipedo" which is on literary and visual art topics. From 2002 he publishes a new collectable periodical, called "Technopegnion". He has been publishing collectable editions ("Cherokineto" Publications). In 2004 he took part in 2nd International Conference on Typography in Thessaloniki, at Macedonia University. His work can be found in many public and private collections and Museums in Greece and other countries. Solo Painting and Engraving exhibitions: from 1981 until 2004 he presented his work in about 24 exhibitions in Greece and other countries.
