ENGRAVING Betty Karoussi Bio 1989-92: She studied at the A.T.E.S. College (Doxiadi) in Athens - BA in Graphics and Decoration. At the same time, she was taking lessons on Drawing, Painting and Art History by well-known Greek and foreign painters. 1993-94: she has studied on topics such as Ceramic Art and Children's Book Illustration (the Aesop Society). 1992-94: she did research on El Greco's life and work in cooperation with Dr. Dimitris Michalopoulos (Eutaxia-Vourou Museum). 1994-95: BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design, the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Surrey, UK. 1995-98: BA (Hons) Fine Arts, the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Surrey, UK - dissertation on Cycladic Art. 1998: she has done the print art for the film "Drinking for the Dreams Shadow" by A.V. Rodriguez. She has earned Distinctions on a national level, in England in 1998 and in Greece in 2004, respectively. She has taken part in many group exhibitions in Greece and the U.K. Pieces of her work belong to public and private collections.
